Dongsei Kim’s peer-reviewed book chapter “Mapping the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) as a Proving Ground: Imagining the Impossible” was published in a Springer publication, The Dusk of Design: Exploring Multidisciplinary Approaches and Evolutionary Biology in Architecture. The chapter critically explores the potential of mapping the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) as a proving ground that can generate seemingly “impossible” scenarios that foster active debates.
