Envisioning a Resilient Sag Harbor
Advised by Prof. Dongsei Kim, dongsei.kim@nyit.edu.
“Envisioning a Resilient Sag Harbor” (Fall 2023 – Spring 2024) was a year-long architectural design thesis studio at New York Tech’s School of Architecture and Design led by Prof. Dongsei Kim. Students advised by Prof. Kim investigated current issues of Sag Harbor to propose its more resilient future in close collaboration with Ronald Reed, a local architect, artist, and a member of its Planning Board. Together, students crafted forward-thinking proposals to ensure a more resilient and sustainable future for Sag Harbor. The students’ year-long research and design proposal results were presented to Sag Harbor’s public on Thursday, May 9 at the Sage Hall, Sag Harbor, NY.
